About Us We are Denise & John Farringdon and are now in our seventh season at Glenernan. We both previously had high pressure jobs and decided to put our managerial and people skills to better use in order to provide a welcoming and relaxing "home from home" atmosphere in our lovely Victorian Guest House. We strive to provide the very best service and have high standards with cleanliness and food presentation top of our priority list. We have an increasing number of repeat customers who enjoy staying here and hope to build on this futher as time goes by, and as we make more friends from guests over the years to come. We are constantly trying to improve year on year for your comfort and all guest bedrooms now have double glazing. During our time here we have replaced headboards, bedding and pillows,. All our rooms have been upgraded with new carpets, curtains and re-decoration plus LCD TVs with DVD player, freeview and free wi-fi access. NEW for 2012 are our Superior Double rooms which are comfortable, spacious and have a leather sofa for relaxing. Our power showers are always commented on. Also as mentioned elsewhere on the website we pride ourselves in trying to obtain as much produce as possible from local village suppliers, many of which carry Royal Warrants. Most excitingly we now have self catering accommodation housed in the original servants quarters within the grounds of our main house. There are 2 separate cottages both for a maximum of 2 people and feature all the modern comforts you would expect along with private parking. Please contact us direct for availability and price.
