DIRECTIONS
From Inverness Bear south on the A9 signposted Aviemore. By Carrbridge turn left onto the A938 and head into Grantown on Spey. At Grantown turn right onto the A939 and follow this road through Tomintoul and Cock Bridge into Ballater. From Glasgow From Glasgow head East on the M8 turning off at junction 13 onto the M80, signposted Stirling and Cumbernauld. Follow the M80 until it merges with North bound M9 just outside Stirling. M9 North turns into the A9 outside Perth. Once in Perth follow the signs for Blairgowrie and the A93. Follow the A93 up and past the Glenshee ski centre dropping down to Braemar on the far side. Once in Braemar follow the A93 to Ballater. From Edinburgh From Edinburgh head North on the A90 across the Forth Road Bridge. The A90 turns into the M90 which should be followed to Perth coming off at junction 11 onto the A93. Follow the signs for Blairgowrie. Follow the A93 up and past the Glenshee ski centre dropping down to Braemar on the far side. Once in Braemar follow the A93 to Ballater. From Aberdeen From Aberdeen follow the signs labelled "Deeside" and A93. Follow the A93 through Banchory and Aboyne. Once through Aboyne follow the signs to Ballater. Upon confirmation of your booking and your acceptance of our terms and conditions we require a non- refundable deposit of £10 per person per night. Please note that losses arising from the cancellation of confirmed bookings will give rise to the following charges. Less than 14 days prior to arrival - 50% of complete booking value. Less than 7 days prior to arrival – 100% of complete booking value. Any booking made 7 days or less prior to arrival will require payment in full via debit or credit card and are totally non-refundable. Glenernan is our home and we welcome guests and hope they will enjoy this peaceful location and beautiful area. If we feel that peaceful enjoyment would be jeopardised by another person or person’s actions or demeanour then we do, if necessary, reserve the right to refuse admission or terminate the letting period irrespective of bookings or deposits paid. Please be aware that we do not normally accept wedding guests as the late return in the evening is disturbing to our guests who may have retired early. Also regretably we have no facilities for babies or children who are younger than 5 years of age. We strongly advise you to consider personal travel insurance.
